Field Notes • Fall 2026
Stories from Galena, Wooster, Damonte Ranch, and Bishop Manogue, along with a look inside FCA Training Camp.
Wooster held its first FCA Huddle of the school year this month. Before it even started, one thing caught my attention: posters hanging in the hallways asking a simple question, “Who is Jesus to you?”
Bishop Manogue’s Huddle meets off campus for more than an hour, creating space to go deeper into Scripture and small-group discussion. This year, the Huddle is studying through the Gospel of Mark with adult Huddle Leader Thomas Peregrin, better known as Coach P.
Almost 30 years after serving as the FCA Huddle Captain at Galena, I got to go back as FCA staff, introduce local youth pastors who will serve the Huddle, and share the Gospel with another generation of students.
